David joined Reimagined Ventures in 2023 as a VP of Special Situations investing where he works together closely with the various investment teams across the firm to help find and evaluate their most interesting opportunities. David leverages years of expertise in the hedge fund world where we worked closely with the event driven team at Magnetar Capital and eventually alongside the CEO on the most unique and complex deals at the firm. David served on various Magnetar investment committees, including for the Systematic Risk Arbitrage and Systematic SPACs.

Prior to Magnetar, David served as an Associate and then Vice President within the Financial Institutions Group / Investment Banking Division for Lehman Brothers and Barclays. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, David was an Associate attorney for Bracewell LLP, focusing on real estate and corporate transactions. David began his financial services career in 1999 at Bridgewater Associates in the Research Group, where he served as an Associate focusing on systematic macroeconomic research and trading systems across global equity, bond, and currency markets. David holds a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College and a JD from Harvard Law School.
